Joe Mixon

Mixon comes into a matchup with Indy that is a no question start Indy hasn’t done much to add to their defense and they will have their hands full trying to cover AJ Green, John Ross and Tyler Boyd so expect to see Mixon find a lot of easy holes in the Indy front 7  line this Sunday

Projection – 20 Carries – 90 Yards – 1 TD 3 Catches for 30 Yards

Alex Collins

Buffalo was one of the worst teams at stopping the run last year and this year should be no different. They made some addition to the team with drafting Edmounds with their first pick and bringing in a new DT but I don’t expect them to see drastic improvement out of them their first week of the season.

Collins comes in with fresh legs after getting only 3 carries this preseason and looks like the bell cow for the Ravens. He should end up having a good day against what should be a pretty bad Bills team this year.

Projection – 20 Carries – 85 Yards 1 TD – 4 Catches for 20 Yards

Royce Freeman

Everyone has been on the Barkely hype train this year but I think people are forgetting how good Freeman is. Freeman landed in an ideal situations with the Broncos who are a very good balanced team that wants to be able to run the ball and Freeman can do just that. Now Booker will cut into his receiving work but the head coach has come out and said they trust Freeman in pass protection situations which means he will have chances to come up with some catches here and there. Freeman is going up against the seahawks who have gotten rid of everyone that made their defense good so Freeman could be in store for a good day and he should be working at least as the goal line back so he will have chances for TDs every week.

Projection – 15 Carries – 80 Yards – 1TD – 2 Catches – 10 Yards

Emmanuel Sanders

Another Denver Player who could be in store for a big day is Sanders. Sanders to me in the Denver WR to own this year he still looks fast and quick this preseason and looks like he has a good connection with his new QB. Along with the same reasons with Freeman, Sanders is going up against a completely revamped defense that doesn’t look to be very good with all the players they lost so I expect Sanders to eat up the Seahawks secondary.

Projection – 6 Catches – 105 Yards – 1 TD

Geronimo Allison

Rodgers is back which means everyone on the packers starting offense is fantasy relevant. Allison is coming into his 3rd year in the league and has a nice connection with Rodgers developing. Allison held off all the Rookie WRs the packers drafted this year to maintain his spot as one of the starters he preformed well in the preseason and that was without Rodgers. Allison has a chance to really breakout in his 3rd year and even make a fantasy impact with Jordy now in Oakland. The packers last year were one of the top teams to run 3 WR sets so Allison will see he fair share of snaps and hopefully targets.

The Bears will have a lot to defend against Rodgers and Allison won’t be a main focus for them given the Packers have Adams, Graham and Cobb still there which gives Allison the opportunity to make a lot of plays one on one. I think Allison will put together a solid game this week.

Projection – 7 Catches – 88 Yards

Tyler Lockett

Lockett just recently signed a new 3 year deal with the seahawks which shows how much they believe in their WR. Lockett has the talent to be a very effective WR this year and with Richardson & Graham gone it opens it up a lot for Lockett to make a major impact this year and with Baldwin saying he might not be 100% healthy all year a lot of the load could fall on Lockett this year and he might end up being better than what most people think.

Denver is a tough matchup for him this week but having Wilson throw to you makes anything possible and some attention will be towards Baldwin anyway which will give Lockett a chance to make his mark in this game. The opportunity is there now its just a matter if Lockett takes advantage of it.

Projection – 6 Catches – 110 Yards – 1 TD
